The Postgraduate Computer Science Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yunus College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) is a state-of-the-art computing facility established to support advanced teaching, research, innovation, and project development for M.Tech. students. The laboratory supports courses in Programming Fundamentals, C Programming, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems, Python Programming and Web Technologies. Students gain practical exposure through laboratory exercises, mini-projects, coding assignments, and problem-solving sessions that strengthen their analytical and programming skills.
The laboratory supports practical sessions in Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Java Programming, Mobile Application Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, Compiler Design, and Full-Stack Web Development. It also serves as a facility for project development, technical workshops, hackathons, and innovation-driven activities.
The laboratory supports practical sessions in C Programming, C++, Java, Python, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Advanced Programming Techniques, Scripting Languages, and Problem Solving. The Software Laboratory serves as a platform for developing mini-projects, major projects, research prototypes, and innovative software solutions. Faculty members mentor students in adopting software engineering best practices, agile development methodologies, and quality assurance techniques.
